DESCRIPTION:Break out the black capes and cue the creepy organ music for Theatre at Tarleton's production of Dracula Nov. 7 through 11 at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center on the Stephenville campus.\n\n \n\nThe play\, based in the 1897 Bram Stoker novel\, is adapted for the stage by William McNulty.\n\n \n\n"The cast and crew are very excited about our upcoming production\, and we look forward to everyone on campus attending Dracula\," said Carol Stavish\, associate professor of theater at Tarleton. "We hope to give you a delicious taste of horror\, humor and vampires."\n\n \n\nTickets\, available at the Fine Arts Center box office starting Tuesday\, Oct. 31\, are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens\, children under 18\, and faculty and staff with a Tarleton ID. Tarleton students get in for $5. The box office is open from 2 to 6 p.m. weekdays.\n\n \n\nProfessor Abram Van Helsing\, played by Willie Byrum\, leads the hunt for the profoundly evil Count Dracula. But the Count\, played by Logan Throckmorton\, is exceedingly resourceful\, employing superhuman strength\, psychic powers\, and shape-changing to confound and frustrate his antagonists.\n\n \n\nMark Holtorf and Prudence Jones\, both associate professors in Tarleton's Fine Arts Department\, are in charge of special effects.
