Event Description:
Designed for moms and their care partners, this class provides a comprehensive overview of the labor and birth experience. Certified instructors provide tools that support healthy pregnancies and deliveries. Topics include: anatomy and terminology, stages of labor, comfort measures, anesthesia and medication options, cesarean delivery and postpartum care.
A guided tour of the Birdsong Women’s Center is included.
Please bring two pillows and a blanket with you to class.
Note: We suggest taking this class during your third trimester. We highly recommend that you finish all childbirth classes at least three to four weeks prior to your due date.
